SCHEDULE UPDATE (CORONAVIRUS RESTRICTIONS)
To honor our governing authorities and minimize the spread of the coronavirus, we have made some changes in the way we do church here at TRBC. We are taking our Sunday services online and canceling all other scheduled gatherings for the coming weeks. This page will be used to share updates/changes as they occur, and give you a place to access our livestream service link. We understand that this is a difficult time, and we are working to stay connected, and continue to share the good news of Jesus in our community.

Getting the Most Out of Church ONLINE:
Many of you will watch a streaming worship service for the first time on Sunday. We are thankful for the technology to stream our worship service into your home, but watching a worship service online is a very different experience than being in a worship service. Here are some tips to help you get the most out of your online worship at Thomas Road Baptist Church during this time when we cannot be physically together.
1. Make the Worship Service a Priority - One of the most difficult aspects of watching a worship service at home is all the distractions that you will encounter. We suggest the following practices to minimize distractions and maximize your spiritual growth.
Gather your family and watch together when the service begins at 9:00am.
If you have the ability, watch the service on your television, the bigger the better!
If you're not watching on your phone, be sure to leave your phone in another room so you can fully focus on the worship service. (Your notifications will still be available after the service)
We will provide a time to focus on worship by giving your offering during our online service. Please use this link or watch for the link in the comments section of the live stream during the service. Giving will continue to be an important part of our worship service as we give God our first and best of the week.
2. Engage With Each Other Digitally - We all long for connection to one another, here is how you can connect online:
While watching live on our Facebook page, be sure to say hello in the comments before the service begins. The broadcast will begin a few minutes before the service starts, so take time to chat with others who are watching online before the service starts - just like you would if we were meeting together in our church building.
Be sure to like and share our worship service. By doing this, your friends and family can see what you're watching and those who would never visit may actually join you and hear the gospel.
3. Worship. Don't Just Watch - Make your online worship a spiritual time of growth, encouragement and renewal.
Sing with our worship team, pray, follow along in your Bible and take notes. You'll find the song lyrics and main Bible verse on our website.
Respond to what you've seen at the end of the service in the comments section, and talk to your family about what they learned.
Nothing can change our relationship with Jesus Christ, or the peace He gives. Stay focused on His peace, keep yourself and your family healthy, and we pray it won't be long before we're able to worship together again in person.
